 SaskAm People’s Choice Postcard Competition
Send in your favorite 4X6 pictures shot in Saskatchewan
Attach your picture to a sturdy postcard type backing and mail it in.

  • Open to all amateur Saskatchewan photographers of any age.
  • The people who visit the SaskAm postcard display will do the judging.
  • No entry fee.  Ribbons for 1st 2nd and 3rd.
  • Include your name, address, phone number and e-mail address
  • Entries must be postmarked no later than April 19 2010
  • Entries will not be returned.

SaskAm Photo Competition Categories


All images except those entered in the TRAVEL category must have been taken in Saskatchewan.

Refer to SaskAm general rules.


1. Macro/Close-up- Macro or close-up photography
2. Saskatchewan Landscapes- Any landscape, waterscape and cityscapes of Saskatchewan
3. Travel-  Any where in the world besides Saskatchewan.
4. Animals-  Any pet, animal or wildlife that lives in Saskatchewan.
5. Portrait/Fashion/Glamour- People in Saskatchewan, how do you see them?
6. Plants and Flowers-  Vegetation and the beautiful flowers grown in Saskatchewan
7. Open-  If there is no category for your image  it belongs here
8. “WOW”-  Be creative, anything goes, digital editing and manipulation is encouraged.

SaskAm Youth Open Category Competition

    • Under the age of 12
    • 12 to 18 years of age
    • No entry fees for youth entries.
    • Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and H.M.
    • Youth may enter 4 images into either category (Youth A or Youth B) depending upon their age.  Youth wishing to enter the other SaskAm categories may do so at regular entry fees and following the general SaskAm competition rules.

    The Regina Photo club is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote the art of photography. The Regina Photo club has found a way to do this with their annual fund-raiser, the SaskAm Photo Competition.  This is a province-wide competition which is open to amateur photographers residing in Saskatchewan. This competition, hosted by a Saskatchewan photo club, is primarily sponsored by Saskatchewan based businesses and organizations. We are asking for your support to help make Sask Am 2010 a success.

    In past years, approximately 5oo+ photographs have been entered into SaskAm to be adjudicated and then displayed in the exhibition. Cash prizes based on sponsorship are awarded to the winners as determined by a panel of judges.

    The photographs will be displayed in the centre halls of the Golden Mile
    Mall, in Regina, SK where competitors, family and friends and all mall visitors may view the exhibition. This display can be viewed for approximately 2 weeks beginning at the end of April 2010.
